Required Skills

•           Be a person well acquainted with the local and export markets. He should hold a post graduate degree from a reputed institute/university· An MBA with major in marketing well be preferred.

•           Have 10 + years of experience as senior marketing person. Experience of working with a fabric producing company selling its products throughout Pakistan and also involved in export business well be preferred.

•           Have experience in managing a product line of the enterprise and be well versed with the consumer taste and latest fashions prevailing in the fabric for ladies and gents industry.

•           Be able to coordinate and facilitate delivery of finished products and ensure recovery of funds.

•           Have excellent analytical and problem solving approach to promote the sales and achieve targets.

•           Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate in detail, consumers' trends and market information at all levels.

•           Have good understanding of computer knowledge and its various applications such as MS word, Excel, Power Point, Project, Visio, media/electronic sales programs etc.

•           Be responsible and should thoroughly understand and communicate goals to be achieved.

•           Assist in the development of new lines of products and marketing strategies arising from the business changes and feedback from customers and new areas of opportunity and fashion.

The Institute of Management Sciences Peshawar is a government owned degree awarding autonomous institution of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. We are among the few business schools in the country whose Business Administration programmes are accredited by National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC) in "W" category. We are offering programmes in Business Administration, TT, Economics, Public Administration, Public Health, Development Studies and Project Management. The Institute has specified centers for Human Resource Development, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship Development and Public Policy Research.

PROGRAMMES

MBA for Non-Business Graduates 2(1/2) years

Eligibility: Candidates with a 16 years non-business degree (MSc/MA/MBBS/BSc/BE (Engineering)/BSc Agriculture/ LLB/4 years BA/BS programme or any other equivalent education as endorsed by the HEC are eligible for this programme. Students who have valid GAT score, need not take the Admission Test unless for improving marks

MBA with exit route to BBS* 3 (1/2) years

A full time programme designed to produce future business leaders. Students completing the MBA course will have the option of majoring in Finance, Human Resource and Marketing. This programme operates both in the morning and evening sessions.

MBA (Banking & Finance) with exit route to BBS* 3 (1/2) years

A specialized degree in Banking and Finance with an extended scope beyond it. The programme is in collaboration with the Institute of Bankers in Pakistan (IBP),a national body that oversees professional banking qualifications. The programme consists of taught semesters, spread over three and a half year offering optional specialization in the areas of Islamic Banking & Finance, Consumer & Micro Finance and International Banking. An important feature of the programme is an 8 week internship under the aegis of the Institute of Bankers Pakistan.

Eligibility: The basic requirement for admissions is at least 2"􀄌 division/45% marks in BA, BSc or equivalent. Students who have valid NAT score, need not take the Admission Test unless for improving marks.

Admissions open in other programmes; MSc {Applied Economics}, MSc (Finance), Master in Public Administration, MSc Computer Science & Master of Public Health.

*According to the recent roadmap of the HEC, students can discontinue their study after successful completion of two years and opt for a Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) degree. BBS degree holders ore eligible for admission in MS.
