The Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi, South Asia's premier business school, seeks the services of energetic, dedicated and result-oriented individuals for the following positions in its newly established Centre for Excellence in Islamic Finance (CEIF), which is launched in collaboration with the State Bank of Pakistan and IBA, Karachi.
Proram Manager - Centre for Excellence in Islamic Finance (CEIF)
The incumbent will report to the Director - CEIF, and will supervise the overall operations of the Centre. S/he will plan and implement program goals to fulfill the mission of the CEIF, and will supervise CEIF staff to facilitate the day-to-day operations of the CEIF. S/he will establish and support the workflow of the Centre, and work closely with program personnel to assign duties, review status reports and oversee the budget.
Requirement:
           Masters, preferably MBA, from an HEC recognized University/Institute with at least 3 to 5 years of experience at the middle management level. Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written
           Experience in managing and conducting professional trainings will be an added advantage
Research Fellow- Centre for Excellence in Islamic Finance (CEIE)
The successful candidate will be actively involved in the implementation of research and innovation strategy, which is aimed to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the Centre's research initiatives. The incumbent will be expected to work under faculty supervision for research and publication in journals of repute.
Requirements:
           Masters in Economics/Finance from an HEC recognized University/Institute preferably with 2 years of experience in academic research and case study writing
           Proficient in Data tools and techniques of research
           Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written
Senior Executive (Marketing & Communications) - Centre for Excellence in Islamic Finance CEI
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong image of the CEIF. The incumbent will take lead in setting up the Centre's official website and establishing an active social media presence, and assisting in the coverage of training and events conducted by the CEIF. S/he will create all CEIF content, including all communication with trainees and trainers, and work with vendors to create marketing collateral as required.
Requirements:
           Masters, preferably in Marketing, from an HEC recognized University/Institute with at least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in marketing and using social medial for marketing communications
           Excellent communication (verbal & written), interpersonal & presentation skills
           Knowledge and experience of using Content Management Systems will be an added advantage
Senior Executive (Finance) - Centre for Excellence in Islamic Finance (CEIE}
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following and implementing all financial policies and procedures adhered to by the CEIF. S/he will have the overall responsibility for creating and updating thorough records of all CEIF transactions, maintaining expense sheets, balance statements, vendor records, etc. The Senior Executive Finance will be primarily responsible for creating monthly financial reports, and will work as a liaison between the CEIF and IBA's Finance Department to complete all financial and transactional processes.
Requirements:
           Masters, preferably MBA in Finance from an HEC recognized University/Institute with at least 2 to 3 years of relevant industry experience will be preferred
           User level knowledge of ERP Oracle Financials and proficient with advanced tools and techniques in MS Excel. Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written
           Ability to work alone and follow strict deadlines
Senior Executive (Admin) - Centre for Excellence in Islamic Finance (CEIF)
The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for providing administrative and logistical support to the CEIF, assisting trainers and trainees and organizing activities at the Centre. S/he will be in charge of the general preparedness and upkeep of the CEIF's facilities.
Requirements:
Master's or equivalent degree from an HEC recognized University/Institute with at least 2 to 3 years of experience in office administration and logistics. Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written
